Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is central to our operations, governed by an OHS Management System (OHSMS) certification. Additionally, each plant is supported by Safety Committees and led by trained safety professionals along with line managers who oversee safety standards.
We have introduced new safety performance metrics such as Lost Time Injury (LTI) and Accident-Free Days (AFD), benchmarked against global industry standards. These targets were successfully achieved in the 2021-22 fiscal year.
Our Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) initiative promotes a zero-accident culture by identifying and mitigating unsafe habits and environmental factors. Through Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), we actively assess potential risks and address them.
